While Kamala Harris is being called out by MAGA for her “fake” accent, a purported statement from Tiger Woods disparaging her has gone viral on social media.

While Kamala Harris is being called out by MAGA for her “fake” accent, a purported statement from Tiger Woods disparaging Democratic presidential candidate has gone viral on social media.

The quote comes at a time when videos of Harris speaking at campaign events in Pittsburgh and Detroit on Labor Day went viral on social media.

Trump War Room shared two recordings of Harris, saying that the US VP delivered the exact same phrase in a speech in Detroit and Pittsburgh. “Let’s see if you can spot the difference,” they asked the followers.

Greg Price, a conservative media pundit, also shared video of Harris’ speech, pointing out “two entirely different accents” and calling her “the fakest human being that has ever lived.”

Meanwhile, Internet personality Dom Lucre claimed that Harris had altered her speech to accommodate Black people.

Meanwhile, an X user named @PGATUOR shared a quote allegedly made by the professional golfer.

“Kamala’s fake black accent is embarrassing and extremely offensive. – Tiger Woods,” it states.

The viral post has received over 5 million views and 173K likes. However, the quote has been refuted. The bio section of the page mentions that the original poster is a well-known satirist and parody account. The account also referred to itself as the golf version of The Onion and The Babylon Bee, well-known parody and fake news websites with humorous content.

Uncle Luke reacted to Woods’ fake comments regarding Harris and blasted the American golfer over his hypocrisy. Following this, several people informed the rapper that the quote was phony.

In the comment sections, some Harris supporters blasted Woods, with on saying, “Tiger Woods is a disgrace. A man who never admit that he’s black only get with Karen’s.”

“I’m willing to bet money Tiger Woods never said this,” one of the golfer’s fan said.

“Tiger never said that. This account is satire. Tiger Woods himself doesn’t claim to be black so he wouldn’t be an authority and probably doesn’t care either way,” another added.

Serena Williams has shared her thoughts on whether Coco Gauff should make changes to her forehand and serve as the American exited the 2024 US Open.

The tennis icon thinks the Gauff serve “can obviously be better”, but argued her compatriot does not need to adjust her forehand as she highlighted “confidence” as the key.

Gauff’s US Open title defence came to an end with a 3-6, 6-4, 3-6 loss to world No 12 Emma Navarro in the fourth round at Flushing Meadows.

JUST IN: US Open: Iga Swiatek may be destined to face the same fate as Novak Djokovic

The 20-year-old star was hamstrung by serving issues in the match as she made only 46% of her first serves and hit 19 double faults.

The American’s forehand, meanwhile, is a shot some analysts have identified as a weakness she must improve throughout her career to date.

During the world No 3’s defeat to Navarro, Williams was asked if Gauff needs to make any technical changes to her serve or forehand.

“I feel like she has a good serve,” the 23-time Grand Slam singles champion told ESPN. “I think that it can obviously be better, but I feel like she’s so young. She has the rest of her career to just improve.

“I wouldn’t change anything on her forehand. I’ve seen a lot of interesting forehands. And listen, if you’re just confident in whatever you have, keep it up, and just be confident about it.

“That’s literally all she needs to do is just have confidence, whether she’s hitting it with her wrist or elbow. Just have confidence doing it.”

Iga Swiatek may be destined to face the same fate as Novak Djokovic with tennis fans.

Where is the love for Iga Swiatek?

The world No 1 is undoubtedly the best player in the women’s game and her commanding lead at the top of the world rankings confirms her levels of consistency are in a different league compared to all of her rivals.

Yet when the lists of most popular tennis players are compiled, Swiatek rarely gets a mention.

In the men’s game, it is easy to pick out Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner as the fans’ favourites, with Frances Tiafoe, Grigor Dimitrov, Jack Draper and Ben Shelton also enjoying a strong fan base.

In the women’s game, Coco Gauff, Aryna Sabalenka, Paula Badosa, Ons Jabeur and even the rarely seen Emma Raducanu tend to get more positive media coverage than the best player in women’s tennis.

It may be that Swiatek’s efficient brilliance has not captured the imagination of some fans, with her clinical ability to hand out 6-0 sets to her overwhelmed opponents a trait that some find less than appealing.

One of Iga’s biggest ‘crimes’ may be that she is just too good, with the way she wins tennis matches in such a brutal and swift fashion failing to serve up the excitement fans crave.

Away from her reputation as a winning machine, Swiatek is everything we want from our sporting greats.

She is vulnerable at times, shows her frailties on court and can collapse under pressure on the rare occasions when she allows an an opponent to get on top of her in a match.

Swiatek is also an outspoken supporter of making life better for players, with her pleas for a trimmed-down tennis schedule backed up by her honest confessions over the social media abuse that comes her way.

“The amount of hate and criticism that me and my team get after even losing a set is just ridiculous,” she said earlier this month. “I want to encourage people to be more thoughtful when they comment on the Internet.

“It’s kind of sad for me to see that people I work with and myself, we are really judged.

“I would like to encourage people to be more thoughtful and to also focus on the positive side of what we are doing. We all sacrifice a lot, and we are all working really hard to be in that place. We are always giving 100% of what we can do every day.

“I’m only kind of seeing the messages from my close ones, the ones that I already accepted, but for sure there is a lot of hate.

“It would be nice if we can try to educate people and also maybe in the future have some solutions as, you know, using Al to make it safer for us.

“Because I feel like we can’t be on the internet and feel like kind of safe anymore. You have to really be careful about what you’re reading and who you’re following.

“I know that there are some tools that, for example, Roland Garros offered for us, like this app that we can have on the phone, and it’s going to block the hateful messages.

“My team also has been kind of looking in my case what kind of messages have been blocked or not when we’re using this app. It would be nice if we had more opportunities to use this kind of tools because it’s always some kind of help.”

Will former undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez ever fight interim WBC super middleweight champion and his mandatory opponent David Benavidez?

Former CEO of Mayweather Promotion Leonard Ellerbe has shared his thoughts on the potential fight as he spoke about Canelo’s upcoming skirmish.

‘Cinnomen’ is about to get in the ring against his WBA mandatory Edgar Berlanga on September 14th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. While the event is expected to do good numbers, the fight that people really want has been pushed down on Canelo’s priority list with demands of $200 million. However, Ellerbe feels that the fight is inevitable.

Speaking to the 58-year-old in an interview, Marcos Villegas from Fight Hub TV asked for Ellerbe’s expertise in the business to predict when the fight may go down. So, in response, Ellerbe, who has been on Floyd Mayweather’s side for the better part of his career, seemed optimistic, claiming the fight would happen sooner or later because of the demand for it.

“I just think that you know, it’s a fight that the entire sport wants to see, you know. Two of the guys at the top of their game and the fans want to see that fight, and I think they will get it at some point next year. That’s just my opinion,” Ellerbe said. And guess what? It’s worth noting that Canelo hasn’t said no to the bout, right?

Instead, he’s asking for a ton of money to make the fight happen, basically saying he’s earned the right to make those demands with everything he’s done in his career. Meanwhile, later in the interview, Ellerbe went as far as to defend Canelo’s demand for $200 million, stating, “There’s never enough money when you’re getting up there and putting your life on the line. I support his decision to do it whenever he’s ready to do it.”

But not everyone thinks Canelo’s just in it for the cash—some people actually believe he’s just scared.

So, get this. Oscar De La Hoya‘s been taking shots at Canelo Alvarez for asking for $200 million to fight David Benavidez, saying it’s just Canelo’s way of dodging the fight. De La Hoya, who used to promote Canelo with Golden Boy, vented about it in an interview with Sean Zittel. He said, “Canelo not wanting to fight Benavidez and outpricing himself—even Turki knows that Canelo is afraid of Benavidez.”

He also threw in, “200 million dollars? You’re crazy. You are crazy. In other words, you don’t want to fight him.” It doesn’t end there. The one and only De La Hoya made it clear that he thinks Canelo’s asking price is way too high and bad for the sport. And that’s not all, folks. He stressed that a fight between Canelo and Benavidez would be huge for boxing, saying, “Boxing is on the rise… and if Canelo fights Benavidez, guess what, that’s the Super Bowl of boxing.”

Alright, will this fight happen? It’s unlikely that Canelo Alvarez would let this mega money-making opportunity just pass him by. However, whether he gets paid $200 million for it is yet to be seen. At least, Leonard Ellerbe feels Canelo deserves every dollar.

Oleksandr Usyk has said he is only interested in rematching Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

Usyk secured the biggest career win, beating Fury via a split decision to become the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion. It was the first time boxing had an undisputed champion since Lennox Lewisin 1999. The rematch takes place on December 21, but it will not be for undisputed. The Ukrainian dropped the IBF title, as Daniel Dubois became the full champion.

Joshua will box Dubois on September 21 for that IBF belt, with the winner in line to box either Fury or Usyk for undisputed. Usyk has already beaten Joshua on two occasions. He outboxed the Brit in both fights to become the Unified Heavyweight Champion. After winning everything in the sport, Usyk does not have many goals moving forward.

“Well, this is a rematch with Fury and possibly a third match with Joshua. Only with these two guys it is still interesting, from now on let the youth get fit and work … The logical line is that, apart from Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, I have no desire to box with anyone,” Usyk said

There are several other options Usyk could explore beyond that. His team has hinted at the idea of crossing over into BKFC. Conor McGregor, who is a part owner of BKFC, has been mentioned as a possible name. That fight increases Usyk’s profile while also giving him the chance to win a title in another sport. Usyk’s slick defensive skills and footwork do work in his favour.

There is also the chance to help the next generation of fighters. Usyk’s win over Fury was massive for Ukraine since the country is at war with Russia, providing the citizens with a morale boost. But given that Usyk is undefeated, he risks losing that record if he continues fighting for much longer as he is 37. Given the huge amount of money on the table and Joshua’s willingness to fight Usyk again, the Ukrainian could be attempted.

“He wants to beat Usyk. Because the first fight he had with Usyk, frankly he came out second best. He went away, he regrouped, he learned, he studied and he still got beat in the second fight. That’s why he got so disappointed in the second fight.

“It’s a split decision and it was close, but Anthony Joshua’s a very special type of sportsman. The money’s great. He’s got more than enough money, you could float a battleship if you put all his cash in one locker. But they want to win. These people want to win and they want a legacy. I don’t think Anthony Joshua will sleep at night until he is unified,” Eddie Hearn stated

But before a Joshua fight can be considered, Usyk must overcome Fury in his rematch. It was the Gypsy King’s first career loss, meaning he has more motivation to avenge the defeat. Fury has shown he performs best as an underdog, beating Deontay Wilder and Wladimir Klitschkowhen the odds were against him. Usyk must guard against that.

Gervonta Davis has been credited as hitting harder than Terence Crawford.

That is according to WBO Welterweight Champion Brian Norman Jr. Norman Jr. has had the chance to spar both men. Davis is currently 30-0 with 28 KOs as he stopped Frank Martin in his last fight to retain his WBA Lightweight Title. Meanwhile, Crawford stopped all of his opponents at 147 before moving up to 154. He boxed Israil Madrimovin his first junior middleweight fight, beating him via a unanimous decision to win the WBA belt.

That took his record to 41-0 with 31 KOs. Given their ability to stop opponents, they have become some of the best P4P fighters. However, Norman Jr. highlighted some differences in their punch power. Norman Jr. felt Crawford would systematically beat his opponents up before stopping them. Meanwhile, Davis had the one-punch knockout power to change a fight at any time.

READ: [VIDEOS] The staggering real-life story of the last man to beat Floyd Mayweather in the boxing ring

“When I sparred Terence Crawford I was 20 years old at the time, so it was like he was trying to man me like ‘I’m gonna show you you a little boy’ type stuff. But I’m mature for my age, so that’s why we evened out. Even when you see him fight for real, he don’t necessarily one-shot people, but what he do is he just beat you up and then he kill you. But as far as one shot, who got it? I got to give that to Tank,” Norman Jr. said

Davis and Crawford were linked with a fight following some verbals over social media. This began after Davis backed Errol Spence Jr. to beat Crawford. He referred to Bud as having a glass chin. Crawford stopped Spence and told Davis to move up to 147 if he wanted to test the chin. It never happened, as Davis’ biggest fight will likely be against Shakur Stevenson. Shakur holds the WBC belt, meaning a unification could happen next year.

It is a contrast of styles as Davis’ power would have to break down Shakur’s defensive skills. Davis could walk him down and get the stoppage if he does not respect Shakur’s punches. Stevenson showed in his fight against Edwin De Los Santosthat he fights on the back foot against power punchers.

He was booed for fighting off the jab, while De Los Santos could not cut the ring off, drawing criticism from fans. Stevenson fought on the inside against Artem Harutyunyan in his last bout. Despite winning a wide unanimous decision, he never looked like stopping Harutyunyan. Ex-world champion Andre Dirrell advised Shakur to work on his inside fighting style before facing Tank.

“Shakur needs to just fix a few things and learn how to fight in the pocket. He already showed that he can; he just wasn’t firing off that last fight [against Artem Harutyunyan]. If I were Shakur, I’d test the waters with a few opponents and then jump in there with Tank. He got time for that,” Dirrell stated

Shakur will box Joe Cordina next on October 12. Cordina will move up from super featherweight to lightweight, allowing Stevenson to potentially overpower his opponent. A stoppage win will do wonders for his confidence.

Golf fans react to Scottie Scheffler’s response to a reporter who asked him why he shanked a bunker shot en route to FedEx Cup victory.

A golf reporter was left red-raced when Scottie Scheffler responded to his question about why he shanked a bunker shot at the Tour Championship on Sunday.

Despite his shocking wedge malfunction that led to a bogey on the short par-4 8th, Scheffler dusted himself down on the back nine and sprinted away for a deserved victory that saw him crowned FedEx Cup champion.

It was a win that banked him $25m too.

When pressed for comment on how it happened, the World No.1 talked things through in the most Scheffler way possible.

“I shanked it,” he replied.

The reporter said: “Why did you shank it?”

Scheffler then mocked the reporter’s question:

“So there’s a — the club, there’s this straight part of the face and then over here is the hosel, and on that one specifically I caught too much of that part of the face. That’s why it went to the right. It’s shaped kind of — a little curve.

“If I hit the straight part it’s going to go that way, and then if I hit this part it’s going to come towards you.”

The reporter said: “I know the season, thanks.”

Golf fans were loving Scheffler’s response.

Some thought the question was ridiculous.

‘Ask stupid questions get stupid answers,” tweeted Barstool Sports.

‘Scottie wasn’t having it,” commented one PGA Tour fan.

‘Love that reply from Scottie,” wrote another.

Others thought Scheffler’s reply was educational.

‘Honestly that answer was pretty informative haha’, tweeted one fan.
‘Thanks for clarification of a shank, Scottie,” commented another

Here’s a look at the Scheffler shank:

Despite the shank on 8, which marked a third bogey in his last four holes, Scheffler proceeded to birdie the next three holes to take full control of the tournament once again.

He then poured home an eagle on the par-5 14th to seal the deal.

Scheffler finished four shots clear of Collin Morikawa on 30-under par.

The win marks Scheffler’s seven official title on the PGA Tour this season and an eighth overall following his Olympic gold medal in Paris.

Novak Djokovic is reeling from his shock US Open defeat and the rest of 2024 appears to be laced with peril for the 24-time Grand Slam king.

Djokovic said he “played some of the worst tennis I have ever played” after he followed Carlos Alcaraz in crashing out of the US Open.

Alcaraz was the subject of one of the tournament’s biggest upsets when he was dumped out by world number 76 Botic van De Zandschulp on Thursday night.

And 24 hours later, defending champion Djokovic joined him in leaving New York early after 28th seed Alexei Popyrin won 6-4 6-4 2-6 6-4 in the third round.

Defeat for Djokovic means it is the first time since 2017 he has not won a major title and is his earliest exit at a major since the Australian Open that year.

It extends the Serbian’s wait for a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title and, at 37, his domination may be coming to an end.

What comes next will say much about Djokovic’s commitment to continue to push for more at the top of the game, with confirmation that he will play for Serbia in their Davis Cup World Group I playoffs against Greece later this month.

Serbia need to win that tie to get back into a position to challenge for Davis Cup glory in 2025 and if Djokovic plays against Greece, it suggests he still has ambitions to win the Davis Cup once again next year.

He has also been entered into the Shanghai Masters, but it is unclear whether he will make the decision to fly to China to take part in that part of the ATP Tour season.

Djokovic has not played in Shanghai since 2019, but he will need to make a decision on whether to make the long trip this time as he is in danger of missing out on a place in the end-of-season ATP Finals in Turin in November.

The Serbian won the ATP Finals last year, beating Jannik Sinner in a thrilling final to confirm his status as the world No 1.

With his limited schedule and poor results, by his standards, on the first half of 2024, Djokovic is down in seventh place in this year’s ATP Race To Turin.

The top eight players in that list will play in the ATP Finals, with Alex de Minaur, Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul pushing to overtake Djokovic in the ATP Race at this year’s US Open.

The top eight players qualify for the lucrative ATP Finals, with Djokovic’s win at that event last year securing him 1,300 ATP Ranking points.

He also has 1,000 points to defend from his win at the Paris Masters event last year, but the biggest concern for Djokovic will be securing a chance to defend his ATP Finals title.

If he opted out of playing in China and didn’t enjoy success at this year’s Paris Masters, Djokovic may well be outside of the top eight places in the ATP Race To Turin.

Djokovic may not be too concerned about his ATP Ranking at this late phase of his career, but he will want to be part of the ATP Finals, where he is a seven-time champion.

He will need to improve on his performance if he is to get into the mix for a return to Turin, with Djokovic scathing of his performance, against Popyrin.

“Honestly, the way I felt and the way I played from the beginning of this tournament, third round is a success,” said Djokovic.

“I have played some of the worst tennis I have ever played, honestly, serving by far the worst ever.

“If you play on a quick surface like this without the serve, without the ability to win free points there, very low first-serve percentage, many double faults, then you can’t win.

“You can’t win, especially against the guys who are in form like Alexei who is serving big, puts a lot of pressure on your service game. It was just an awful match for me.”

Iga Swiatek detailed the conversation she had with Serena Williams during the US Open.

The world No. 1 was dazzled by her encounter with the 23-time Grand Slam champion and admitted that it gave her a ‘positive boost’ before the third round.
The Polish player secured a comfortable victory over Russia’s Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, winning 6-4, 6-2. Just before the match, the 23-year-old had a prolonged chat with Williams: “It was really nice to see her. She has a lot of positive energy,” commented Iga Swiatek.

“It is nice that she came on-site and she was chatting with the players because for me, even though we met before and for like a couple of years we have been on the same side and on the tours together, she is still like star-striking me,” she added, smiling. “It was nice that she approached me because I wouldn’t for sure find the courage to do that (smiling) if it was the other way. Yeah, she is really nice and really positive.”
“I’m happy that she is following tennis and likes my game because she told me she is cheering for me. It’s always nice to hear that from somebody like Serena,” added the 5-time Grand Slam champion. “She approached me, like, at 4:00, you know, today. It was before my warm-up. I would say it more inspired me and it gave me, like, a positive kick, so it was nice.”
Additionally, Swiatek was asked to compare the current level of tennis with that of two decades ago, but she acknowledged that it is difficult for her to draw conclusions: “It’s hard for me to judge the level I have because I am constantly looking at myself and other players, so it’s not easy to say if we are playing at our best level or at a higher level than five years ago,” she said.
“Surely we are playing better tennis than 20 years ago because our physical condition has improved, among other things. I’m not an expert, I haven’t watched many past matches, but it’s clear that you need to improve to move forward,” Swiatek added. “Becoming world No. 1 happened suddenly for me; I admit that at first, my opponents didn’t know what to expect from my game.”
“2023 was a challenge because I had a big target on my back; my rivals already knew my style, so that’s when you need to learn and have more variety on the court, you can’t keep playing the same tennis because people will figure it out, and it will be harder to win.”
“I don’t know if tennis is improving overall, but you need to enhance your game because here everyone analyzes you, and they will end up focusing on you to beat you.”

While Floyd Mayweather has solidified his place as one of the greatest boxers of all time, the last man to beat him has gone down a very different road.

At the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, the pound-for-pound great, who was just 19 at the time, suffered a loss that left him both tearful, yet motivated to never feel that way again.

Serafim Todorov has had a tough journey since beating Floyd Mayweather

Gifted with sublime reflexes and a remarkable boxing IQ, Floyd Mayweather amassed an astonishing 50-0 record to write his name into the boxing history books.

JUST IN: Mike Tyson v Jake Paul: Mike Tyson will hold back to not ‘seriously hurt’ Jake Paul

In his sensational career, the American utilized his polarizing personality to gain the interest of fans around the world. Whether people wanted him to win or lose, they tuned in either way, and it had an enormous impact on the boxer’s bank balance.

Throughout his stint as a professional fighter, very few men came close to beating Mayweather, with most missing the target wildly as the legendary athlete showcased his excellent shoulder roll.

While the likes of Oscar De La Hoya and Marcos Maidana did push him close, and some believe José Luis Castillo did enough to have claimed the victory in their first encounter, in the professional realm, no one can say they’ve stepped inside the ring with the icon and emerged with the decision.

But that’s not the same for the amateur game. Serafim Todorov of Bulgaria defeated the gifted athlete in a major upset in the semi-final of the Olympics, leaving the Michigan warrior with a bronze medal.

However, despite beating Mayweather, the underdog couldn’t cross the final hurdle, falling short against Somluck Kamsing of Thailand.

While ‘Money’ rebounded from the heartbreak, Todorov didn’t. He turned down an offer from a group of promoters in the USA in favor of attempting to represent Turkey at the 1997 World Amateur Boxing Championships, because he felt his home nation weren’t giving him the support he deserved.

Alas, the Bulgarian Boxing Federation wouldn’t let it happen, and the athlete retired from competition in 2003.

He eventually returned to the squared circle 12 years later, in 2015, at the age of 46, and beat Aleksandar Chukaleiski via unanimous decision.

Sadly, the same year, the New York Times published a piece, reporting that he was living on a pension of $435 per month.

At the time, he was residing with his wife, son, and daughter-in-law in a first-floor unit in Pazardzhik. He has worked as a driver for both a grocery store and a sausage factory.

Mike Tyson slams Floyd Mayweather for saying he’s better than Muhammad Ali

While Todorov never reached his optimum potential, his Olympic rival certainly did.

In an astounding run, Mayweather proved his skills beyond doubt, going down as arguably the greatest defensive fighter of all time, not just in the opinion of the public, but in his own eyes too.

He’s even gone as far as to say he was a better boxer than the legendary Muhammad Ali, which hasn’t gone down well with Mike Tyson.

In an angry rant, ‘Iron Mike’ slammed the former welterweight star, explaining why he’ll never be on his hero’s level.
