Jon Rahm has shared his desire to improve the game of golf through and through.
He had mentioned that, out of all his goals, he wished to leave the state of golf in a better position than what he had started within Spain. Now it turns out, it was not the PGA Tour or the DP World Tour that made it happen, but rather its LIV Golf.
The 2-time Major Championship winner is now playing at the LIV Golf Andalucía. But in today’s pre-tournament press conference, Rahm was asked how he was feeling to finally play on his home ground. Jon Rahm excitedly replied, “Well, it feels great. It feels great. One of the very exciting, one of the many things about joining Liv was coming here and playing in front of a Spanish crowd, especially on a level of event and level of competition that I had not really yet enjoyed, right.” The golfer did not leave LIV’s contribution towards making his wishes and dreams of playing in Spain possible.

Furthermore, the 29-year-old golfer further shared how LIV Golf is giving Spain a world-class stage. He remarked, “I’ve been able to play events in Spain but you didn’t have a world-class stage, I would say. Very fantastic, great players, but it wasn’t the same level of accomplishments that we have in LIV Golf.”
When asked about his family and friends, Rahm did not forget to praise the opportunity LIV provided this time. He revealed how his well-wishers can travel more freely in their country than usual in the US when he was out playing on the PGA Tour. Thus, Rahm commented, “Yeah, there’s a lot of family and friends. Spanish people can travel in a bunch, especially when it’s in their home country, it’s a lot easier. Yeah, there will be a fair amount of people out there.”
